Structural Integration Lecturer (Part Time) The Health Sciences Department at UNM-Taos invites applications for a half‑time, open‑rank Lecturer (I–III) position beginning by Summer 2026. Join a pioneering team in the nation’s only university‑based Structural Integration (SI) program located in the vibrant creative community of Taos. This faculty member will teach, mentor, and lead the bi‑annual SI program, advancing holistic health education and shaping the next generation of practitioners.

Teaching & Mentorship

Deliver curriculum aligned with established syllabi and program outcomes.

Provide learning resources, record sessions, and maintain academic standards.

Evaluate student work using rubrics and offer constructive feedback.

Engage in monthly faculty meetings and maintain professional communication via UNM systems.

Program Coordination

Manage SI program applications and prepare materials for the selection committee.

Coordinate cohort enrollment and ensure compliance with IASI contact‑hour requirements.

Support students with attendance, make‑up hours, CESI exam paperwork, and licensure applications.

Collaborate on marketing, website updates, and program development.

Train to serve as Assistant Instructor within the SI program.

Qualifications Minimum Qualifications

Board‑Certified Structural Integrator (BCSI) from an IASI‑recognized program.

Associate degree or higher (minimum 60 credits from an accredited institution).

Ability to demonstrate knowledge and skills consistent with HLC guidelines for qualified faculty.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher.

Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in a college or university setting.

Experience in interdisciplinary health education and student mentorship.

Experience in curriculum innovation for diverse learning styles.

A demonstrated commitment to cultivating an understanding of the rich and varied cultures of New Mexico and to the success of the university’s mission to serve local and global communities.
