Worthington Enterprises is seeking an Electrical Engineer. This role will will work closely with maintenance technicians on electrical and control needs and should have a fundamental approach on machine electrical troubleshooting. Additionally, this role requires strong skills using AutoCAD, Microsoft Office software, and an understanding of power, wiring, load usage and analysis/design.
This role will be in a plant environment and working with cross functional partners to obtain information such as detail drawings, design calculations, system layouts, sketches and power specifications. This role requires good communication skills and a professional demeanor to interact (face-to-face and other media) with customers, contractors and intercompany employees.

Provide support in startup of electrical systems design
Analyze and model data, make decisions and solve problems
Judge the power needs of a facility and determine inefficiencies, propose solutions
Program Logic Controls (PLCs) and Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs)
Establish and maintain good relationships with clients, consultants, company staff, subcontractors, and suppliers
Schedule work and activities, issue, maintain, and update schedules
Organize and file drawings, paperwork, e-mails, and other correspondence
Organize, plan, and prioritize work in a team environment
Knowledge, Technical Skills, Certifications, Experience Required
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering / Electrical Engineering Technology
Critical Thinking - Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems. Document all analysis in a computational Model, whether simpler or complex.
Ability to use computer software for analysis, costing, scheduling, and estimating (Microsoft Office, AutoCAD and other).
Attention to Detail - Job requires attention to detail and thoroughness in completing work tasks. Verify all calculation inputs and results using all means available.
