In this position, your work will have a profound impact on the country’s most critical role – protecting our national security.* **Innovative Projects:** KBR’s work is at the forefront of engineering, logistics, operations, science, program management, mission IT and cybersecurity solutions.* **Collaborative Environment:** Be part of a dynamic team that thrives on collaboration and innovation, fostering a supportive and intellectually stimulating workplace.* **Impactful Work:** Your contributions will be pivotal in designing and optimizing defense systems that ensure national security and shape the future of space defense.**Key Responsibilities:*** Conduct software compatibility tests with programs, hardware and operating systems* Develop testing programs that address areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, regression testing, negative testing, error or bug retests, or usability* Design or develop automated test scripts* Communicate and document test results in a manner understandable by technical and non-technical staff* Perform fully compliant testing and provide accurate, repeatable test results**Work Environment:*** **Location:** Chantilly, VA* **Travel Requirements:** Minimal* **Working Hours:** Standard**Qualifications:****Required:*** **Security Clearance:** TS/SCI++* **Education:** Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Engineering, Mathematics, or related; Additional years of experience will be considered in lieu of degree* **Experience:** Minimum of 3 years* Experience designing and developing automated test scripts in Python, Bash, JAVA, Java-Script or similar scripting language* Experience designing, writing, reviewing, and executing test plans, procedures, reports, and other technical documentation* Experience conducting functional and regression testing for existing applications* Strong experience using Unix or Windows* Experience using tracking systems for issues and problems such as JIRA* Ability to interface with customers, end-users, technical leads, and program management**Desired:*** Create and maintain automated cloud-based test environments using technologies such as Selenium or comparable testing tools* Familiarity with Agile mindset and methodologies* Experience building test automation frameworksIf you’re excited about making a significant impact in the field of space defense and working on projects that matter, we encourage you to apply and join our team at KBR.
