Job Overview Ready to shape the future of telecom? Hubbell is looking for a Business Development Manager to spearhead growth. In this role, you’ll be the driving force behind strategic partnerships with Tier I and Tier II carriers, contractors, integrators, and EPC firms. You’ll influence product specifications, open new market opportunities, and empower field sales with your technical expertise.

We are open to any US location for the incumbent to reside.

A Day In The Life

Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of telecom market trends and technologies.

Establish and strengthen partnerships with Tier I carriers (AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Lumen, Hawaiian Telecom) and top turf contractors.

Support field sales with technical expertise, product training, and educational demonstrations.

Track key projects from inception to completion using Salesforce and Power BI.

Stay current with industry standards (ATIS, TIA, BICSI) and communicate updates to the sales team.

Represent Hubbell at major trade shows and conferences (NATE, PEG, AMOC, Connect(X)).

Work with OEMs and engineering firms to secure Hubbell product specifications in new designs and projects.

Plan and execute strategic contractor events, regional meetings, and industry trade shows.

What will help you thrive in this role?

Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, or Communications (preferred).

Experience in electrical or telecom markets (preferred).

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and Power BI.

Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Ability to travel up to 50%

Self-motivated, team-oriented, and results-driven.

Valid driver’s license.

Problem-solving and analytical skills.

Ability to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.

Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
