PACT-Y In Home Clinician - Community Based -
Waltham
Join Wayside Youth & Family Support Network as a clinician for the PACT-Y program, an innovative, evidence-based treatment model in Massachusetts. This DMH-funded, community-based program serves youth and their families. We seek flexible professionals with experience in Behavioral Approaches. Our supportive culture balances personal responsibilities and professional development while making a positive impact on the community.
This is a clinical position and due to contract obligations requires a completed master's degree in mental health counseling, social work or related field.
Salary Range
:
$65,000.00 - $70,000.00/year
+ s ign-on bonus (half paid after 6 months of employment and half paid after 1 year of employment/pro-rated for part-time).
What you will do:
Work as part of a strong, collaborative, multidisciplinary team with the youth, young adults, caregivers and providers to ensure close collaboration and coordination of care.
Conduct individual and family counseling using trauma informed and culturally responsive interventions for youth and their families.
Encourage youth to have an active voice in their treatment.
Assist caregivers in navigating systems, to promote their awareness of resources and access to supports.
Empower caregivers with skills and strategies to support their child’s behavioral health needs.
Create care plans and interventions to support skill-based growth for clients.
Promote and strengthen family’s natural supports to foster a welcoming and supportive community for the youth.
Ensure that client’s rights are respected, particularly in regard to cultural competency.
Collaborate with other community-based organizations to provide services and care for clients.
Provide on-call support as part of a rotating schedule. Candidate will need to cover 1 weekend every other month.

Minimum Requirements:
Masters Degree in Social Work , Mental Health Counseling or related field required .
