Job Description
Assistant Manager at Domino's Pizza – a role that requires leadership, customer service, and operational oversight. You will manage the store, lead a team, and ensure standards are met.
Responsibilities
Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.
Receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and facility daily.
Train and orient new staff, communicating instructions verbally and in writing.
Perform cost controls, inventory control, and cash handling.
Maintain store cleanliness, customer relations, and adherence to standards.
Ensure staff attendance and punctuality; manage staffing and scheduling.
Promote marketing initiatives and profit‑generating activities.
Drive deliveries to customers within a designated area, including flyers and door hangers.
Authorise marketing and promotional materials; obtain a valid driver’s licence and vehicle access.
Navigate varied terrain and adverse weather while carrying products.
Key Skills & Abilities
Accuracy in addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division (calculator use accepted).
Correct monetary change handling.
Strong verbal, written, and telephone communication.
Excellent motor coordination and quick precise hand movements.
Keyboard/computer or touch‑screen order entry proficiency.
Map reading and navigation within a delivery area.
Ability to operate equipment, use oven controls, and manage food production.
Physical & Work Conditions
Work primarily standing on tile or linoleum; walking required for short distances.
Lift, push, pull, and carry items ranging from 3 lbs to 50 lbs.
Operate equipment such as ovens up to 500°F, sharp edges, and moving parts.
Varying temperatures from 36°F to 90°F, exposure to food fumes, cornmeal dust, and cramped walk‑in coolers.
Operate vehicle for deliveries; valid driver’s licence required.
Advancement Opportunities Starting as a delivery driver, you can progress to Assistant Manager, General Manager, Franchise Owner, or Corporate Operations Manager.
