The Sales Project Coordinator’s responsibilities are managing and overseeing various aspects of projects. Collaboration with internal and external clients to organize the various components of a project needed to initiate, manage, and conclude assigned projects. Provide administrative support to the sales and production departments.
JOB SUMMARY The Sales Project Coordinator’s responsibilities are managing and overseeing various aspects of projects. Collaboration with internal and external clients to organize the various components of a project needed to initiate, manage, and conclude assigned projects. Provide administrative support to the sales and production departments.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Reviews all incoming orders from Sales for clarity and accuracy and then prepares orders to process incoming jobs
Verifies accuracy and drafts for internal system (V6/ Draft sight)
Conducts kick-off meetings with customer prior to drafting submittal and update notes in PDF's
Assembles CAD package to present to customer for approval.
Prepares/updates amendments per changes requested by clients
Creates detailed V6 drawings for production.
Updates job folders and Creates E2 Project and edits PDFs for SolidWorks/V6
Performs other duties as assigned to assist other departments
Requirements KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Able to understand and execute detailed written and verbal instructions
Strong Communication both written and oral
Strong time Management and Organization skills
Knowledge in technical details related to field, interpreting or drafting CAD drawings, or willingness to learn
Take initiative and ownership on project and requirements
Able to work in a team with co-workers to resolve work-related issues.
Able to handle projects and see them through completion.
Able to coordinate with multiple department efforts.
Strong computer proficiency
Knowledge of Microsoft office
Basic knowledge of CRM and ERP systems
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
HS Diploma or equivalent required. College degree in related field preferred.
Two plus years’ experience in customer service, Project Coordination, or related fields
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.
Talking. Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word. Those activities in which they must convey detailed or important spoken instructions to other workers accurately, loudly, or quickly.
Hearing. Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction. Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and to make the discriminations in sound.
Repetitive motion. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
The worker is required to have visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned (i.e., custodial, food services, general laborer, etc.)
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions (such as in typical office or administrative work.).
