Role Overview HOKALI is looking for a
Field Operations Assistant
to support our after-school programs across
Marin and Sonoma County . This role is ideal for someone
organized, proactive, and comfortable working on-site
at different school locations. You'll play a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations and student safety.
Responsibilities
Assist with daily student check-in and check-out procedures
Support Educators during class transitions to ensure proper supervision ratios
Remain on site until all students have been safely dismissed
Set up and organize materials before classes; assist with cleanup after programs
Communicate supply needs, attendance inconsistencies, or incidents to the Site Coordinator
Help manage snack distribution and maintain clean, safe environments
Provide additional supervision or coverage when needed
Uphold HOKALI's safety standards and report any incidents immediately
Schedule & Compensation
Monday-Friday
Shifts available: 1:00-5:00 PM or 2:00-6:00 PM (depending on site)
$30-$35/hour, depending on experience
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in schools, after-school programs, childcare, or youth programs
Familiarity with school-site environments
CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
Requirements
Must be located in or able to reliably commute to Marin and/or Sonoma County
Availability during weekday afternoons
Comfortable working with elementary and middle school students
Reliable transportation and punctuality
Strong communication and teamwork skills
