Offer Description IREC, the Catalonia Institute for Energy Research, is a public research institution recognised as a CERCA research centre and accredited as a TECNIO technology provider. It conducts innovative research in energy technologies, promoting clean energy solutions and supporting renewable energy projects in Spain and beyond. Eligibility Criteria

PhD awarded between 01/01/2018 and 31/12/2023

Two years of post‑doctoral experience outside Spain

No residence or main activity in Spain for more than 12 months within the last three years

Requirements Field & Education

Mechanical engineering, Building physics, Data science or Computer science; PhD or equivalent

Skills & Qualifications

Advanced knowledge of PostGIS/PostgreSQL

Programming: Python, R

CityGML / 3D City Database for CityGML

Rhinoceros, Grasshopper 3D

Indoor Environmental Quality assessment methods

Time‑series data analysis methods and tools

Initiative in research and innovation

Passion for energy efficiency and sustainability in the built environment
