In Kansas City, Honeywell Federal Manufacturing & Technologies (FM&T) manages and operates the U.S. Department of Energy/National Nuclear Security Administration’s (NNSA) Kansas City National Security Campus. This state‑of‑the‑art engineering, manufacturing and sourcing facility produces a wide array of intricate components to deliver trusted national security products and government services primarily for the NNSA. Summary The Recruiting Specialist I will support execution of best‑in‑class talent acquisition solutions to accomplish the sourcing and securing of talent to meet our national security objectives. Supports other Talent Acquisition team members in the recruiting process, including planning and execution of hiring events, assessments, surveys, communication templates, metrics, job postings, hiring resources, and sourcing candidates.
Duties and Responsibilities
Develops, facilitates, and assists in the implementation of best practices in all phases of the recruitment process.
Conduct basic Boolean searches on LinkedIn, job boards, and resume databases.
Attend campus career fairs, networking events, and virtual recruiting sessions.
Schedule and help facilitate team meetings including capturing notes, actions, next steps.
Job requisition management including facilitation of job posting and advertisement processes.
Maintains candidate data within company ATS.
Supports other Talent Acquisition team members in all phases of the recruiting process, including logistics planning, registration, payment, management of 3rd party shipping vendor and general execution of hiring events.
Administer pre‑employment assessments or coordinate with recruiters for technical tests.
May perform initial phone screens to evaluate qualifications, cultural fit, and salary expectations.
Schedule interviews, send calendar invites, and manage interview panel logistics.
Prepare interview guides and ensure compliance with interview policies.
Maintain timely, professional correspondence throughout the hiring process.
Enter candidate data, update status changes, and generate reports.
Ensure data integrity and compliance with privacy regulations.
Assist recruiters in preparing offers.
Conduct surveys to gather feedback.
Track key recruiting KPIs (time to fill, source of hire, candidate pipeline health).
Produce metric status updates for the TA team.
Contribute to social media posts, career site content, and recruitment marketing materials.
Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.

Bachelor's degree is required
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
Ability to work on-site
Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this job
United States Citizenship
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) security clearance (some positions require additional DOE designations)
