Work Study Eligibility: Must be work‑study eligible and eligible for Federal Work Study funding.

Requirements: Currently attending Sul Ross State University; Graduate student standing with 2.75 GPA; Proficient in computer skills including Excel and word processing.

Preferred: Experience with technology applications; some knowledge of the related discipline.

Primary Responsibilities

Perform varied tasks relating to data collection and reports.

Provide skilled secretarial assistance; assist students.

Assist department chair, administrative assistant, and students with program needs.

Excellent computer skills; use editing software; greet and assist walk‑in students.

Hold 15 office hours per week (flexible schedule).

Conduct research, compile data, create graphs and charts related to department needs.

Perform other duties as assigned unique to the department.

Responsible for personal safety and the safety of others; position is security sensitive.

The report also contains information about crime statistics for the three most recent calendar years concerning reported crimes that occurred on campus; in On‑Campus Student Housing Facilities; in Noncampus buildings or property owned or controlled by the University or a recognized student organization; and on public property within, or immediately adjacent to and accessible from, the campus. The report also contains fire statistics for any fires occurring in an On‑Campus Student Housing Facility during the three most recent calendar years.
