Certified Recovery Peer Advocate

The Certified Recovery Peer Advocate (CRPA) works with individuals receiving addiction related services at Saratoga County Mental Health and Addiction Services. Peers use their shared personal lived experience to promote clients’ recovery, offering support, advocacy, and skill development opportunities. A majority of participant contacts take place face-to-face at Saratoga County MH & Addiction Services or via tele-health services. Documentation of services provided is a component of this work. Peer must be certified.
Responsibilities
Work with individuals receiving addiction related services to promote recovery.
Use personal lived experience to offer support, advocacy, and skill development opportunities.
Conduct majority of participant contacts face-to-face or via tele-health.
Document services provided as part of the job.
Qualifications
