We are seeking a skilled Project Manager & Estimator to lead commercial interior construction projects from bid through completion. This dual‑role position is ideal for a professional who can produce accurate estimates and efficiently manage field operations. Projects include drywall, metal stud framing, acoustical ceilings, and related commercial interior scopes.
Key Responsibilities Estimating
Review drawings, specifications, and scope documents to prepare accurate takeoffs and cost estimates
Prepare and submit competitive bids, budgets, and change orders
Develop value‑engineering options and identify cost‑saving opportunities
Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain pricing and complete full bid packages
Attend pre‑bid meetings and conduct site assessments when needed
Maintain historical cost data and strengthen subcontractor/vendor relationships
Project Management
Oversee awarded projects from kickoff through closeout, ensuring deadlines, budgets, and quality expectations are met
Schedule field crews and coordinate materials, subcontractors, and on‑site logistics
Lead weekly progress meetings with clients and internal teams
Track project performance, including daily reports, job costs, and safety compliance
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, vendors, and team members
Provide leadership updates on progress, forecasts, billing schedules, and project risk
Requirements
3‑5+ years of combined estimating and project management experience
Background in commercial interiors (drywall, metal framing, acoustical ceilings, or similar)
Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and submittal packages
Ability to manage multiple bids and active projects simultaneously
Proficient with estimating and takeoff tools (PlanSwift, Bluebeam, or similar)
Strong communication, time management, and negotiation skills
Self‑starter who works independently and collaborates effectively with field teams
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus, but not required
