Base pay range $70.00/hr - $85.00/hr
A Procurement / Supply Chain Manager is required for a large Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power project north of Austin, Texas. This long-term, field-based W-2 contract role supports the EPC team by managing on-site and project-level procurement, logistics, and materials coordination through construction and commissioning.
Responsibilities Manage procurement activities for construction materials, equipment, and subcontracted services in alignment with the EPC execution plan.
Coordinate with engineering, construction, and vendors to ensure timely delivery of long-lead and critical path items.
Oversee site logistics, material receiving, storage, and inventory control.
Track purchase orders, expediting, and delivery schedules; identify and mitigate supply chain risks.
Interface with vendors, suppliers, and freight providers to resolve delivery, quality, or documentation issues.
Ensure materials comply with project specifications, QA/QC requirements, and contract terms.
Support cost control, forecasting, and reporting related to procurement and materials.
Assist with surplus material management and closeout activities.
Qualifications
10+ years of procurement or supply chain management experience on industrial or power generation projects.
Prior EPC experience on CCGT, thermal power, or large industrial construction projects strongly preferred.
Strong understanding of construction materials, equipment sourcing, and site logistics.
Experience managing vendor relationships, expediting, and field-based materials coordination.
Familiarity with ERP, procurement tracking systems, and materials management tools.
Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to work on site and cross-functionally.
Competitive hourly W-2 pay based on experience.
Stipend for accommodation and travel.
Long-term assignment with potential extension.
