Assistant Property Manager Affordable Housing / Cimarron Village, Meadowlark Court and Rendezvous Volunteers of America Colorado believes unique challenges require thoughtful solutions. Job Summary Responsible for timely and accurate completion of applications, certifications, and recertifications. Assist the Community Administrator in addressing residents’ daily needs and manage property operations in their absence.

Job Duties

Process applications, certifications, re‑certifications and interim certifications through interviews and verification.

Execute applicant lease documents per VOA policy.

Collect and post resident rents and utilities, send delinquency notices, and reconcile ledgers.

Maintain applicant waitlist and resident files, update waitlist semi‑annually, and compile documents for annual audit.

Enter coded invoices into property management software.

Monitor property, resolve minor issues, and escalate serious issues.

Collaborate with Service Coordinators to enhance resident quality of life.

Obtain mandatory COS, LIHTC, and Fair Housing training within one year.

Maintain predictable, consistent attendance.

Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws, HUD 202, Section 8, and LIHTC programs.

Effective communication skills and good phone etiquette.

Detail oriented.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of administrative/clerical experience.

Basic computer operations and data entry skills.

Effective communication and ability to build positive resident relationships.

Basic math aptitude.

Position Type and Hours Full‑time, Monday‑Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Pay Range $22 per hour.
