Job Title: Human Resources Specialist
Location: Commerce, Georgia (100% on‑site)
Position Type: Full‑time, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Position Overview The Human Resources Specialist focuses on recruitment operations, onboarding execution, and learning and development coordination. This role supports candidate pipeline management, new hire integration, training tracking, HR documentation, and day‑to‑day employee support within a 24/7 manufacturing site.
Key Responsibilities
Manage job postings, resume tracking, interview scheduling, status updates, and candidate coordination
Support hiring managers with resume routing, interview logistics, and selection workflow
Coordinate with staffing vendors and agencies for hourly and salaried hiring needs
Prepare offer letters and hiring documentation packets
Onboarding
Handle pre‑hire documentation, I‑9/E‑Verify compliance, and personnel record setup
Conduct Day‑1 orientation, deliver onboarding materials, and support new‑hire integration
Maintain onboarding checklists, system setup, plant access, uniform/badge preparation
Track probationary period milestones and onboarding progress
Learning & Development
Maintain training logs, completion status, and compliance training records
Coordinate department training schedules and assist with L&D program execution
Support development of onboarding modules and refresher training organization
Assist in LMS administration and training documentation control
HR Administration
Maintain accurate personnel files with confidentiality
Support employee inquiries on policies, procedures, and HR processes
Assist with benefits questions, enrollment changes, and general HR support
Participate in HR compliance, documentation upkeep, and process standardization
Required Qualifications
5–10 years of HR experience in recruiting coordination, onboarding, HR operations, or generalist roles
Experience managing interviews, hiring workflow, or onboarding processes
Knowledge of training coordination or LMS preferred
Understanding of federal and Georgia employment regulations
Strong organization, documentation accuracy, and follow‑through
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
