Description Axia by Qcells is seeking a dynamic and experienced Supervisor to lead our Project Coordination team. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing the performance, development, and strategic alignment of the Project Coordination team, ensuring consistent delivery of high‑quality project execution and exceptional customer experience across our residential solar and energy storage portfolio. The Supervisor will play a critical role in refining operational workflows, driving team performance, and collaborating cross‑functionally to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with company standards. This role requires a strong background in project management, team leadership, and customer‑centric operations.
Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and manage a team of Senior Project Coordinators, Project Coordinators, and Assistant Project Coordinators, ensuring alignment with company goals and project delivery standards.
Monitor team performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement training and development plans.
Oversee the full project lifecycle across multiple regions, ensuring consistent execution from sale to permission to operate (PTO).
Collaborate with cross‑functional departments (Sales, Engineering, Operations, Customer Experience) to resolve escalations and optimize project workflows.
Develop and refine standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices for project coordination and customer engagement.
Serve as the escalation point for complex project issues, providing strategic guidance and resolution support.
Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal documentation standards across all projects.
Report regularly to senior leadership on team performance, project pipeline health, and operational risks.
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the Project Coordination team.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of experience in project management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team leadership role.
Proven track record of managing complex projects and leading high‑performing teams, ideally in the residential solar PV + ESS sector.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams through ambiguity and change.
Advanced proficiency in project management tools and CRM systems.
Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management abilities.
Deep understanding of customer experience principles and how they apply to project delivery.
Preferred Qualifications
PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification.
Experience in residential solar installation, permitting, and utility interconnection processes.
Familiarity with quality assurance and risk management frameworks.
