Job Description
Educates/precepts new staff or students and works well independently with minimal supervision as needed.
Sets priorities and completes work within the expected time frame. Checks e‑mail daily and effectively communicates with department Supervisor and Manager.
Performs staff Image QA as assigned. Communicates findings of QA to site leader and senior modality manager.
Actively participates in department meetings and safety surveys. Utilizes service recovery techniques for patients and families, as needed.
Utilizes the hospital performance improvement process in the goals of Imaging Services.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s, Technical/Vocational School (Required)
Basic Life Support – CPR Cert (BLS)
RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement
Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer – Abdomen (RDMS-AB) – EV Accredited Issuing Body
Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer w/ OB/GYN Spec (RDMS-OBGYN) – EV Accredited Issuing Body
Registered Technologist – Radiography (R.T.(R)(ARRT)) – EV Accredited Issuing Body
Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) – EV Accredited Issuing Body
Pay Range $28.68 – $53.35
