This position is eligible for remote consideration and requires on-site travel to Memphis 1× per month, up to 12 trips per year.

Key Responsibilities

Complete portions of strategic plan development management process for departments and programs; develop business plans with guidance.

Perform statistical analysis to unlock trends and key insights critical for the success of St. Jude; summarize findings, reporting in applicable reports and track performance.

Identify process improvement opportunities, better tools and templates to support planning and executing initiatives.

Form productive relationships with program areas within St. Jude.

Serve as a project manager for small standard projects; facilitate discussions at internal SPDS meetings.

Maintain strategic planning tools to support strategic plan management; create documentation in adherence to applicable federal, state and local safety, health regulations and standards.

Develop proficiency in two strategic planning tools.

May mentor and provide guidance to members within the team.

Minimum Education & Training

Bachelor’s degree required with 4+ years experience in healthcare focused strategic planning or related field.

Master’s degree preferred with 2+ years experience in healthcare focused strategic planning or related field.

Minimum Experience

Background in healthcare-focused strategic planning or a related field required.

Experience with strategic planning processes, organizational problem solving, research management, operations, and project management preferred.

Prior EPIC, ESRI experience preferred.

Proficiency in Excel / PowerPoint preferred.

Experience with Business intelligence tools (Tableau/Power BI) a plus.

Demonstrated success in previous roles.

Skills & Abilities

Strong project management capabilities.

Skilled in retreat agenda development and facilitation.

Excellent presentation and communication skills.

Proficient in data analytics and data visualization.

Ability to analyze market data and translate insights into strategic recommendations.

Compensation Estimated salary range: $78,000 – $139,360 per year for the role of Senior Strategic Planning Associate.
