TOCC is looking for a full‑time Assistant Cook for the Food Program. This is a non‑exempt position with an hourly wage range of $17 to $19 per hour.
What you will do You will assist the Lead Cook in providing high‑quality, nutritious meals in a clean and safe environment. Your main duties will include:
Assisting with preparing and cooking menu items.
Performing cleaning duties such as washing dishes, wiping counters, and cleaning kitchen areas.
Receiving and storing food items according to safety and sanitation guidelines.
Monitoring food quality and temperature during the cooking process.
Plating and serving meals to meet presentation standards.
Working with the Lead Cook to ensure all kitchen equipment is in safe, working condition.
Ensuring the kitchen is properly stocked with necessary items.
Following all sanitation procedures.
Base pay range $17.00/hr – $19.00/hr
