Moderneyes Advanced Eyecare is a modern, luxury, hi-tech optometry practice providing top notch patient experiences from check in to check out. We opened in the heart of S Tampa in April 2025 and are growing at a steady pace. We are looking for the next amazing addition to our eyecare team.
Role Description This is a part-time on-site role located in Tampa, FL, for a Front Desk/Optometric Technician. The responsibilities include providing excellent customer service to patients, scheduling appointments, managing front desk operations, and assisting optometrists with vision examinations and diagnostic tests. Duties also involve maintaining accurate patient records, ensuring the smooth flow of daily operations, and upholding clinic organization and cleanliness.
Qualifications
Strong Interpersonal and Communication skills to interact effectively with patients, staff, and optometrists
Experience with Appointment Scheduling and proficiency in managing calendars
Knowledge or experience in Optometry and working in a Medical Office setting
Attention to detail, time-management skills, and a strong commitment to patient care
Technical proficiency in using office and scheduling software
High School diploma or equivalent is required; certifications or experience in optometric care or related medical fields is a plus
