What you will do

Develop instrument equipment repair job scopes, procedures, safety and execution plans

Ensure compliance of applicable Safety Standards and procedures

Assume Permit Receiver responsibilities

Perform Job Loss Analysis for each job

Troubleshoot, repair and/or overhaul all types of I/E equipment

Validate equipment repair procedures or work specifications

Engage in good housekeeping in work areas

Repair (shop repaired) spare parts and return to stores

Enter equipment repair history and close out Work Orders

Update repair procedures

Update equipment Technical Data

Identify and initiate modifications to improve equipment reliability and safety

Skills and Qualifications Preferred 5 years of experience. Demonstrated prior relevant work experience or education is preferred. Proficient in troubleshooting instrument systems. Familiarity with a Safety Critical PM Program. Experience with the following:

Control Systems (e.g. Honeywell Experion)

Smart Transmitters

PLC Hardware and Software

Safety Instrumented Systems (e.g. Honeywell Safety Manager)

Control Valves and Smart Positioners

Heat Tracing Systems

Coriolis Meters (e.g. Micromotion, Honeywell, and Endress+Hauser)

Nuclear Level Devices (e.g. Ohmart, Texas Nuclear)

Asset Management Software (e.g. Honeywell FDM)

Preferred Qualifications / Experience

Proficient in reading and understanding: P&IDs, PLC Logic Diagrams, Instrument Loop Diagrams

Knowledge of Chemistry, Knowledge of Chromatography
