ITS Application Analyst III / IS Care Connect
Location: 9 Farm Springs Rd, Farmington (10566)
Shift: On Call Hours as needed

The ITS Epic Application Analyst III (EPIC Grand Central/Prelude/Cadence) will have primary responsibility for design, build, configuration, testing, validation, and ongoing support of Epic modules, leading major application projects and maintaining in-depth application knowledge.
Focus Areas: Patient Scheduling, Registration/Admissions, Eligibility, Bed Planning, Logistics, Referrals
Responsibilities
Regularly participates/leads initiatives in Project Discovery, Work Groups and Focus Groups.
Leads weekly team meetings, discussing activities, issues, changes, communications.
Analyzes workflow decisions and application configurations to ensure system design reflects decisions.
Anticipates problems, provides prioritized solutions, presents to operational leaders.
Strong knowledge of application level security.
Develops and documents Standard Work Processes for application support.
Collaborates with vendor resources, manages technical build and issue resolution.
Prepares, designs, executes testing scripts and performs unit, system, integrated testing.
Maintains build documents and configures system accordingly.
Creates, maintains, modifies application reports, dashboards, and work queues.
Stays current with technology via continuing education.
Suggests new or optimized workflows and best practices.
Leads implementation of application‑owned projects.
Participates in new implementation / installation of cross‑team projects.
Performs in‑depth analysis of workflows, data collection, report details, and technical issues.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Promotes team atmosphere conducive to goals, schedules, deadlines.
Provides ongoing maintenance of issues/enhancements for listed Epic Applications.
Provides on‑call support.
Supports end users during go‑live, including weekends and after hours.
Mentors team members on application and information systems.
Tests and verifies software releases, upgrades, and changes before promotion.
Troubleshoots, researches, and solves technically challenging integrated system problems.
Understands operational issues within application areas to represent users’ needs.
Qualifications
Epic Application or healthcare IT experience required.
MS Office required.
Preferred: Epic Certifications in Non‑Acute areas such as Cadence/Prelude/Grand Central/Eligibility.
Associate’s degree or equivalent knowledge and skills from education, training, experience in a Healthcare environment required.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business or a Clinical area preferred.
At least 7 years relevant experience in a challenging healthcare environment strongly preferred.
Knowledge/experience of Patient Registration, Admissions, Scheduling, Referrals, Authorizations, Insurance Verification preferred.
