Summary Under general supervision, the Team Lead coordinates daily support operations of a single clinical area or group. The role primarily acts as a Medical Assistant and performs the full duties associated with this function. The Team Lead serves as a resource for other support staff and may fill in for staff as needed to maintain appropriate coverage. The Team Lead takes a leading role in ensuring the department workflow is of high quality.

Education / Licenses / Certifications High School diploma or equivalency certificate (e.g. GED, HiSET, TASC Test) from an accredited institution or governmental unit required. American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) is strongly preferred for patient‑facing duties. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required based on specialty.

Experience Three years in a clinical setting, with at least one year as a Medical Assistant. A bachelor’s or associate degree may substitute for one year of experience. In‑depth knowledge of the specialty’s area is required.

Skills Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients and medical professionals. Sound judgment and the ability to work and make decisions in a fast‑paced environment. Demonstrated leadership potential.

Compensation The hourly range for this role is $22.63–$33.94 per hour based on full‑time employment. Pay is based on several factors including local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. Atrius Health complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
