Job Description
We are seeking an experienced multifamily community manager for one of our Manufactured Housing communities. The Property Manager will focus primarily on community management, resident retention/relations, and daily operations. You will sell and rent homes as well as lease lots for those who purchase outside of our company and want to be a part of our family. The best candidate will be personable, detailed, task oriented, and committed to excellent customer service.
Position Activities and Tasks
Attract tenants by advertising vacancies, obtaining referrals, explaining advantages, and showing units.
Achieve financial objectives by collecting rents, paying bills, forecasting requirements, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective action.
Maintain property by investigating and resolving tenant complaints, enforcing rules of occupancy, inspecting vacant units, completing repairs, planning renovations, and contracting with landscaping and snow removal services.
Secure property by maintaining security devices, enforcing precautionary policies, and responding to emergencies.
Accomplish organization goals by accepting ownership for tasks, exploring opportunities to add value.
Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data.
Negotiate leases and collect security deposits with tenants.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required
Team-oriented with strong work ethic and outstanding interpersonal skills.
Problem-solving and organizational skills with attention to detail.
Motivation for sales, meeting sales goals, negotiation, selling to customer needs, territory management, closing skills, prospecting, professionalism, internal communications, listening, and communication processes.
Must have reliable transportation and ability to pass a drug test. Positive attitude with desire to learn and excel in both team and independent work environments.
Qualifications
4-7 years of experience in multi-family property management.
Experience with manufactured housing communities preferred.
