Nature's Bakery
The Supply Planning Manager is responsible for leading the supply planning team.
This role translates the demand forecast into an achievable supply plan for Nature’s Bakery.
The Manager will own achievement of inventory objectives, customer service goals, and ongoing process improvements while collaborating cross‑functionally with operations, sales, supply chain, IT, and finance teams to execute.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Supply Planning Responsibilities
Translates demand into a constrained master production schedule.
Partners with factories, logistics and procurement to ensure proper translation of master schedule into finite supply needs and actions.
Coordinates with factory planners to support accurate and timely inputs to finite scheduling needs.
Ensures best & standardized practices are followed across all shared planning resources.
Lead the supply planning strategy involved in product lifecycle events and transitions to ensure the network supply strategy delivers on the product portfolio goals.
Create the inventory and run strategy for Nature’s Bakery to meet inventory objectives.
S&OP Responsibilities
Ensures best practices and policies related to monthly S&OP are established and being adhered to throughout the planning process.
Develops capabilities and understanding across functional teams where needed to execute on the model.
Aligns with leadership team to ensure common understanding and shared accountability.
Presents the S&OP forecast including an overview of key assumptions, risks and opportunities.
Partners with stakeholders to assure forecasts can be translated into actionable supply chain plans that optimize inventory and maximize customer service.
Projects and Other Responsibilities
Leads and/or participates in implementation of new processes and practices as the supply chain planning expert for the company.
Partners in development of ERP tools and integration to ensure maximum benefit.
Partners with stakeholders to develop “what‑if” scenario forecasts to support accurate financial forecasting (sales/inventory), rough cut capacity plans, etc.
Partners with Mars stakeholders in strategic capacity scenario analysis.
Performs other duties as may be assigned.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field (Master’s preferred) or equivalent work experience
5+ years of experience in customer operations, planning, logistics, or supply chain management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Strong understanding of supply planning and inventory management best practices.
Proven track record of driving operational improvements.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in ERP systems, planning software, and data analysis tools.
Up to 20% travel is required.
