Job Description
Location:
Central Texas (Stephenville, Granbury, Glen Rose, Weatherford + surrounding areas) Job Type:
Full-time or Part-time (1099 / Commission-Based) Pay:
Commission + performance bonuses (high earning potential)
About Shield & Shelter Roofing Shield & Shelter Roofing is a local, customer-first roofing company serving Central Texas homeowners. We specialize in roof replacements, storm/hail inspections, and helping homeowners navigate the insurance process with honesty and professionalism.
What You’ll Do
Generate leads through door knocking, referrals, networking, and local events
Schedule and run roof inspections (we’ll train you)
Document damage with photos and notes and educate homeowners on next steps
Present estimates and explain options clearly and confidently
Follow up with homeowners, adjusters, and the office to move jobs forward
Track leads and updates in our system (CRM / spreadsheet)
Represent the brand with integrity—no pressure tactics
What We’re Looking For
Strong communication skills and confidence talking to homeowners
Self-motivated: you don’t need to be “managed,” you need to be supported
Coachable and willing to learn roofing + insurance basics
Reliable transportation and a smartphone (photos, notes, communication)
Comfortable working outdoors and walking roofs (or learning safely)
Sales experience is a plus (roofing/solar/real estate is a bonus), but not required
