Responsibilities
Operate laser, forklift, and tool grinder.
Set up, operate, and maintain laser equipment.
Read and interpret engineering drawings/blueprints to translate dimensions to appropriate measurements on the machine.
Use tape measures, perform basic math, and read blueprints.
Work Experience and Qualifications
2 years of machine operation experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Basic computer skills.
Excellent attendance history.
Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work standing on a hard surface for 10‑12‑hour shifts in hot or cold environments.
Good hand/eye coordination and visual acuity.
Ability to climb, bend, kneel, crouch or stoop for various tasks.
Ability to read and understand English.
Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints.
Ability to reach with hands and arms.
Work independently.
Other duties as assigned.
Physical demands: standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, manual dexterity. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.
Schedule Monday – Thursday: 6:00 AM – 5:00 PM (with one hour lunch). Some additional Fridays may be mandatory.
