Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist III – Dedicated Call
Pay Range: $34.21–$51.31. A successful candidate’s actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications, and education. This role is specifically responsible for coverage of on‑call procedures during weekday and/or weekend hours, which may include holidays, within the designated department. Responsibilities include assisting the physician with invasive and diagnostic/interventional cardiac, vascular, neuro, and electrophysiology procedures by monitoring, passing instruments and catheters, observing patient response, maintaining a sterile field, and interpreting and evaluating diagnostic data for physician use. Position requires the operation of equipment that produces ionizing radiation. Due to the nature of the role, the technologist practices autonomously and with minimal supervision.
Education Qualifications
Associate's degree in radiologic technology, allied health, applied science, or completion of a certificate/training program is required.
Experience Qualifications
4 years of experience working in a cath lab radiologic technologist role is required.
Certifications, Licenses and Registrations
Licensed Radiographer in the state of practice is required.
Certification as a Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography (RT(R)) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required.
Advanced certification is preferred: Cardiac Interventional Radiography (CI) certification from ARRT or certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required or obtained within 6 months of hire.
