Greet and welcome patients while ensuring comfort and providing continuous education throughout treatment. Conduct thorough reviews of patient health histories to deliver quality care. Take and process x‑rays and other diagnostic assessments (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography, etc.). Provide exceptional chairside assistance (four‑handed dentistry) to supported dentists during a wide variety of procedures in accordance with state regulations. Utilize Dentrix for patient scheduling and record keeping. Prepare treatment rooms with strict adherence to safety protocols and OSHA & CDC recommendations. Manage supply and inventory levels, placing and expediting orders as needed. Partner with providers and team to implement Heartland Dental systems and maximize office workflow. What You’ll Gain

Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology. Experience working in a fast‑paced, customer‑centric environment. If required under state regulations, dental‑assistant certification and/or x‑ray certification. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Access to PHI necessary for performing job‑related functions; regular HIPAA training and data safeguards required. Preferred Experience
1+ year of experience in a dental setting. Experience with Dentrix or other dental software. Dental‑assisting school certification. Physical Requirements
Perform essential duties satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation. Prolonged periods of sitting and standing. Lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times. Attend virtual or in‑person training sessions periodically throughout the year. Provide a TB test for all new hires in dental office positions prior to starting employment. Who is Heartland Dental?
