The Department of Pediatrics at the University of Virginia (UVA) School of Medicine is seeking a dedicated and dynamic physician to join the Division of Adolescent Medicine as a full-time faculty member at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor. Rank, tenure status, and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Position Overview The successful candidate will provide clinical care and mentor trainees in a variety of settings, including:
Teen and Young Adult Center
Transgender Health Clinic
Eating Disorders Clinic
Adolescent Medicine Consult Service
A strong interest in
substance use and addiction medicine, reproductive health , or related areas is highly preferred. All faculty members share call responsibilities, including weekend and holiday coverage. Additionally, there are exciting opportunities to contribute to
research, advocacy, and quality improvement
initiatives within the division.
Qualifications
MD or DO degree required
Board-certified/board-eligible in General Pediatrics
Fellowship training or experience in Adolescent Medicine is
preferred but not required
