This position is responsible for properly recognising the correct linen belonging to the account being processed. You must ensure there is no mixed, dirty, or damaged linen before feeding into the machine or hand‑folding it. Maintain a fast pace, meet company expectations, and practice safety procedures. Production Operators also help ensure machinery is functioning properly by communicating any issues to their leaders. Duties And Responsibilities
Feeding machinery with sheets, duvets, bathrobes, pillowcases, towels, tablecloths, napkins, mats. Maintaining a clean and organized working station. Ensuring the linen being processed belongs to the assigned account. Identifying any damaged, dirty, or mixed linen and placing it in the correct containers. Maintaining an average of 85% or above for production based on the IT system (Spindle). Logging into the IT system (Spindle) while working on the machine. Performing other duties as requested, directed, or assigned. Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required. 3 months or more related experience in a commercial laundry or hotel industry. Ability to understand, comprehend, and follow simple instructions, short correspondence, and product labeling. Ability to add and subtract two‑digit numbers. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment. Ability to meet required performance goals and objectives. Ability to work in a team environment and independently. Good communication skills, both oral and written in English. Good attention to detail. Working Conditions
Work is conducted indoors; employees are protected from weather and noise. Brief exposure may occur to vibration, moving parts, electricity, gas, chemicals, and other hazards typical of a commercial laundry setting. Physical demands include standing, walking, and occasional lifting up to 20–50 lbs. Employees are required to wear appropriate safety gear and follow all safety procedures.
