Title: Tool for the Strategic Planning of Energy Storage from Marine Renewable Energy Sources in Spain (SEAPLAN) Funding Program: KNOWLEDGE GENERATION PROJECTS 2024 Tasks to be performed

The purpose of this contract is to collaborate on the research to be carried out within the framework of the aforementioned project. This research aims to design a tool for planning energy storage from marine renewable energy sources (offshore wind, offshore solar, wave energy, etc.), considering technical, economic, and social aspects. Your duties will include supporting the planning, development, implementation, and technical evaluation of innovation processes in the field of energy storage for marine renewable energy sources. Specifically, you will be working in Python: Characterization of the technical aspects of energy storage from marine renewable energy sources. Characterization of energy storage potential and its location in Spain. Determination of the economic viability of energy storage from marine renewable energy sources. Determination of the social viability of energy storage from marine renewable energy sources. Creation of a tool to determine strategic planning for energy storage from marine renewable energy sources. Justification for the term of the contract: This contract will end on the same date as the research project. Qualification in the field of computer science. Additional Information

Advanced Technical Training in Computer Application Development: 15 points. Advanced Technical Training in Computer Systems Administration: 15 points. Other qualifications related to computer science: 5 points.

Participation in competitive research projects related to marine renewable energies (maximum 15 points)

For participation in European project: 4 points/project and year For participation in national project: 4 points/project and year For each programming course of more than 20 hours: 2 points For each programming course of less than 20 hours: 0.5 points

PERSONAL INTERVIEW: The suitability of the CV for the position will be assessed. Failure to attend the interview will result in exclusion of the candidate. The interview will be weighted at 25 points. The minimum score to join the waiting list is 30 points and the one obtained in the interview will not count. Selection process
