$74,910 – $92,536
Responsibilities
Provide nursing care to patients in an assigned clinical area and offer leadership on the unit.
Apply clinical nursing knowledge and demonstrated skills to ensure the safety and comfort of patients and families.
Utilize critical thinking to identify priorities and make judgments concerning basic and comprehensive needs of multiple patients to facilitate appropriate and timely care.
Qualifications Education
Required: Graduate from an approved professional registered nursing program.
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
Experience
Required: 6 months in a clinical area.
1 year KSC experience may be considered in lieu of 6 months RN experience with approval from Sr Dir Nursing Services.
Preferred: Two years of ambulatory care.
License(s)
Required: Current and valid Texas RN license.
Preferred: Specialty nursing certification in ambulatory care or one appropriate to the specialty area assigned.
Special Skills
Required: Able to use equipment and related supplies for the selected patient population in the assigned clinical area, including CPR, oxygen administration, and intravenous therapy.
Computer experience.
Preferred: Windows‑based computer skills.
EPIC experience.
Other
Required: Current BLS through American Heart Association.
Preferred: ACLS and/or PALS.
Working Environment Medical Clinic.
