Elite Veterinary Specialists offers compassionate and personalized veterinary ophthalmology services. We are dedicated to delivering specialty care tailored to meet the unique needs of each animal. We currently have 2 locations, one in Casselberry, FL and one in Clermont, FL. We aim to create a supportive environment for both our patients and team members.
Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Certified Veterinary Technician based in Casselberry, FL with a satellite location in Clermont, FL. The Certified Veterinary Technician will be responsible for assisting veterinarians in providing specialized ophthalmology care to animals, administering treatments, monitoring anesthesia, and ensuring the well-being of patients. Additional responsibilities include maintaining medical records, providing education to pet owners, and collaborating with the veterinary team to deliver excellent care.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Animal Care and Pet Care, ensuring the health and comfort of all patients
Expertise in Veterinary Technology, including familiarity with medical equipment and procedures
Skill in Anesthesiology, with experience in monitoring and assisting with procedures
Strong Client Education skills to communicate effectively with pet owners about treatments and care
Veterinary Technician Certification and compliance with state-specific licensing requirements
Ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Prior experience in veterinary ophthalmology is a plus
