Registered Nurse Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Iowa or compact state
At least 1 year of recent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry nursing
BLS certification required
Ability to work night shifts and every other weekend/holiday as needed
Completion of all onboarding requirements (background check, drug screen, health screenings, competency testing)
Med/Surg Telemetry RN Responsibilities
Deliver safe, compassionate, and effective nursing care in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit
Monitor and interpret telemetry data; respond promptly to changes in patient condition
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as ordered
Document patient care accurately and timely in the electronic medical record (EMR)
Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, and discharge planning
