Role Description This is a full-time, hybrid position for a Medical Biller located in New Haven, CT. The Medical Biller will handle daily tasks, including managing patient accounts, processing insurance claims, handling denials, and ensuring accurate billing through the use of medical coding such as ICD-10. The role requires maintaining compliance with industry standards and regulations and communicating with insurance providers to ensure claims are processed correctly.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Medical Terminology and ICD-10 coding
Experience with handling Insurance claims and understanding Medicare procedures
Experience in resolving Denials and addressing billing discrepancies
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
Familiarity with medical billing software and systems is a plus
Previous experience in a Ophthalmology medical billing or similar role is preferred.
