Job Responsibilities

Responsible for everything that happens during your shift, including cost control, inventory control, cash control and customer relations.

Follow all policy and procedures 100% of the time and set a good example for your crew.

Staffing, paperwork, cost controls, cash control, food management, work to a schedule, maintaining a perfect image and adherence to standards.

Provide great customer service, maintain attendance & punctuality, ensure transportation to/from work, and keep store cleanliness.

Assist with marketing, profitability and store maintenance.

Qualifications

Operate all equipment.

Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk‑in cooler.

Prepare product.

Receive and process telephone orders.

Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.

Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.

Participate in orientation and on‑the‑job training.

Strong communication skills – both written and verbal.

Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.

Essential Functions / Skills

Accurate and quick arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).

Provide correct monetary change.

Excellent verbal, writing, and telephone order processing skills.

Motor coordination for rapid and precise movements.

Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.

Work Conditions

Varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when removing trash and performing other outside tasks.

In‑store temperatures range from 36°F to 90°F and above in some work areas.

Sudden changes in temperature both in the store and outside.

Exposure to food odors and cornmeal dust.

Cramped quarters, including walk‑in cooler.

Hot surfaces or tools from oven up to 500°F or higher.

Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.

Physical Requirements

Standing, walking, and carrying large items such as cases of ingredients and supplies up to 50 pounds.

Occasional lifting, pushing, pulling, and climbing of items up to 72” high.

Forward bending, stooping, and squatting during pizza assembly and stock tasks.

Reaching above 72” to turn on/off oven controls and change sign prices.

Continuous eye‑hand coordination and use of hands for pizza dough shaping, pizza peel use, and packing.

Driving Specific Job Duties

Deliver product by car to customer door.

Deliver flyers and door hangers.

Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.

Access to an insured vehicle suitable for delivery.

Navigate maps, multi‑story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying products.

Be able to deliver multiple orders per shift, including navigating up to five flights of stairs.

Sensory Requirements

Talking and hearing on telephone.

Near and mid‑range vision for most in‑store tasks.

Depth perception.

Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.

Far vision and night vision for driving.

Temperaments Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, operate under stress, meet strict quality control standards, analyze and compile data, make judgments and decisions.

Additional Information

Stooping/Bending: Forward bending at the waist is necessary at the pizza assembly station.

Crouching/Squatting: Performed occasionally to stock shelves and clean low areas.

Reaching: Up, down, and forward, including reaching above 72”.

Hand Tasks: Continuous use of hands, forearm and wrist forceful use for dough shaping and box assembly, grasping items like cans and phones.

Machines, Tools, Equipment, Work Aids: Use of pencils, pens, computers, telephones, calculators, pizza cutter, pizza peel, rolling cutter.
