Salary: $22.87 per hour.
Receives, stores, recycles, ships, and transports warehoused goods and products by performing the following duties.
Responsibilities
Operate Stand‑Up Forklifts and Turret Forklifts to handle materials and transport them to and from various locations within the warehouse.
Safely load and unload materials onto and off pallets, platforms, racks, and shelves using forklifts.
Willing and able to perform all duties of Material Handler I as required.
Primary responsibilities (60 % or more of the time in one or more of the following):
Operate motorized equipment, including forklifts, clamps, cherry‑pickers, motorized pallet jacks, etc.
Utilize RF (Radio Frequency) equipment to track product.
Disassemble, reassemble, or repair products, materials or equipment.
Sort, bale, weigh, load, and recycle materials based on customer specifications.
Qualifications
2 years of forklift experience required.
Forklift Certificate required.
Proven experience operating Stand‑Up Forklifts and Turret Forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily; reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.
High school diploma or GED and/or six months of related experience preferred.
Displays integrity, integrity, and works with ethical conduct to inspire trust of others.
Demonstrates ability to comply with YLA Core Competencies: problem solving, decision making, accountability, responsibility, communication, collaboration, teamwork, customer focus.
Can safely lift and move heavy objects, often weighing up to 50 pounds or more.
