Job Overview 16‑week contract with a minimum of 36 hours per week. This is a PRN, day shift role located at 1500 SW 1ST AVE, Ocala, FL 34471. Compensation is $55 per hour.
Responsibilities
The Physical Therapist evaluates and treats patients as medically prescribed in the outpatient adult neurologic setting.
Practices principles of professional development and performance improvement by maintaining clinical knowledge, using best and evidence‑based practices, and serving as a Clinical instructor.
Practices principles of employee and patient safety in daily job activities.
Supports consumer marketing and public awareness through participation in community events, educational lectures, and other extensions of clinical expertise to the community.
Performs evaluations and re‑evaluations using recommended techniques and standards.
Establishes, implements, and adapts individualized treatment plans, including goal setting, treatment activities, and frequency.
Qualifications
Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
Basic Life Support – CPR Certification (BLS).
Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) certification.
Physical Therapist (PT) – Emergency Vehicle (EV) Accredited Issuing Body.
Physical Therapist – Temporary (PT‑TEMP) – Emergency Vehicle (EV) Accredited Issuing Body.
Compensation Pay range: $31.55 – $58.69 per hour.
