The department of Mathematics, Computer Science, and Physics seeks a dynamic and innovative Assistant Professor of Computer Science-Cybersecurity to join our team. This role involves effective teaching, research, student mentorship, service to the department and the university, and engagement with the community. The successful candidate must demonstrate excellence in teaching and have a commitment to integrating new technologies in the learning process and the ability to inspire, motivate, and empower the students to succeed. The individual who will fill this position will teach undergraduate courses with an average teaching load of fifteen (15) credit hours per semester. Sponsorship is not available for this position. Responsibilities
Teach both introductory and advanced level courses, in a face‑to‑face and online format, as well as assist in the development of curriculum. Utilize diverse teaching techniques to foster active learning. Lead and moderate classroom discussions. Administer and grade examinations and other coursework. Additional responsibilities will include advising and mentoring students as well as participating in campus events. Required Qualifications
Master's Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a closely related field. A strong record of teaching. At least two (2) years of applicable teaching experience at the collegiate level. Preferred Qualifications
PhD in Computer Science, Cybersecurity or a closely related field. Proposed Salary

Strong teaching skills with the ability to work with a diverse group of students. Strong written and oral communication skills. Skilled in providing quality feedback on assessments to aid in student learning. Abilities
