Studio MBM is a New York City design firm working on residential, interiors, commercial projects and furniture design. We are looking for a creative, well‑rounded, motivated and organized Project Designer with 4+ years of experience.
Job Details:
Full‑time; in‑office at our Soho studio; starts January 2026. Must be able to work in the US. Salary and benefits commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities • Lead multiple projects, managing day‑to‑day assignments and collaborating closely with the Principal and assigned staff.
• Develop drawings, coordinate with consultants and contractors to ensure project progress and coordination.
• Apply strong design skills across all phases of a project, ensuring high‑quality deliverables.
Qualifications
B.Arch or M.Arch from an accredited institution
4–7 years of relevant experience in an architecture or design office
CA experience is strongly preferred
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Rhino and rendering software; experience in Enscape is a plus
Knowledge of construction standards, codes, materials and building systems is a plus
Experience in residential and commercial projects preferred
Excellent communication and organization skills
Ability to work in a fast‑paced, rigorous environmentSelf‑motivated and able to work independently and with team members
Approach every design and research project with creativity and inquisitive thinking
