We are seeking a part‑time instructor to teach courses focused on dairy technology, robotics, and production systems.
Job Summary The part‑time dairy instructor is responsible for creating a performance‑based learning environment in accordance with the educational objectives of the College.
Responsibilities
Plan learning‑centered instruction aligned with course competencies, including activities and methods for diverse learning styles.
Maintain accurate attendance and student records; submit required reports timely.
Meet with assigned classes and maintain a safe, clean classroom/laboratory/shop environment.
Use the course textbook, outlines, syllabi, and other materials per college guidelines.
Utilize learning technologies for teaching, delivery, assessment, and student record‑keeping (e.g., Canvas, Starfish, Cengage, Teams).
Communicate and provide consistent and timely feedback to students.
Qualifications
Knowledge of dairy industry technology, robotics, and cow‑tracking production systems.
Experience teaching or training in a related field preferred.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Experience with online/distance learning platforms (Canvas, Starfish, etc.) is desirable.
Essential Functions Plan, deliver, and assess coursework; maintain safety and equipment security; maintain student success records.
