Fleet Tire Sales Specialist - Elk Grove Village, IL Pay range: $4,000–$5,000 monthly, with possible adjustments based on experience and market factors. General Description You will sell new and retreaded commercial truck tires and related products, manage existing customer accounts, develop new accounts, and achieve sales objectives. You will represent the company professionally, build knowledge of products and services through training, educate customers, and monitor market intelligence that impacts business and pricing.

Responsibilities

Actively seek and develop new accounts, representing the company to potential customers.

Travel locally to customer sites to establish and build relationships.

Sell company‑supported products and services.

Meet sales goals set by management.

Maintain thorough product and service knowledge to provide accurate information.

Evaluate customer needs and recommend solutions with a value‑selling approach.

Attend sales training and continually build product knowledge.

Perform manual tasks as required, including light and heavy lifting up to commercial tire and wheel weights.

Create or grow truck tire sales through a planned program of regular solicitation.

Schedule fleet service appointments and coordinate with the service department.

Conduct fleet needs evaluations, providing cost analysis and benefits.

Ensure prompt resolution of tire adjustments and proper handling of customer casings.

Deliver tires to customers when needed.

Basic Requirements

At least 2 years of successful business‑to‑business or sales experience.

Valid driver’s license for the required vehicle type and ability to meet commercial driver qualification requirements.

Minimum age 21.

Eligibility to work in the U.S. without future sponsorship is required.

No relocation is offered for this position.

Preferred Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED.

Associate Degree in a related field.

Prior business‑to‑business sales experience.

Candidate Criteria

Strong oral and written communication skills.

Adherence to all safety procedures and safe work practices.

Ability to thrive in a results‑oriented, fast‑paced team environment.

Self‑starter with initiative, able to work independently and attend required training sessions.
