Job Title
Termite Technician – Rentokil
Responsibilities
Identify the customer's termite problems and use knowledge of termite behavior to determine remedial steps.
Perform termite treatment services safely and according to company guidelines and standard practices.
Apply anti‑termite treatments to structures according to schedule, safety procedures and label instructions.
Communicate critical conditions to the customer, discuss procedures and advise on structural modifications when necessary.
Verify job specifications are appropriate for each work order.
Operate and maintain service vehicles and equipment.
Complete production forms documenting services provided.
Interact with customers and explain services performed.
Essential Job Functions
Tolerate a variety of environmental conditions, including seasonal weather, damp and/or dusty locations.
Prepare the job site for treatment.
Enter and exit structures and crawl spaces; climb over and on top of structures; ascend and descend stairs and ladders.
Work comfortably 20 feet up on a ladder and in small confined spaces.
Possess general labor, carpentry, cement, roofing, gutter and attic experience (plus).
Work on roofs and high areas.
Move frequently – sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and use stairs, ladders, scaffolding, ramps, and poles.
Wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including an OSHA‑compliant respirator.
What You Need
Clean shaven face – required for rebreather fit.
High school diploma or GED.
At least 1 year of customer service experience; experience in termite control is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
Flexibility with working hours (Monday–Friday and Saturdays as needed).
Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division across all units).
Licenses/certificates as required by federal, state, or local regulations (covered by Rentokil).
Company vehicle and gas card provided.
Base Pay Range Hourly: $17.00 – $20.40 (subject to geographic location, skills, education, and experience. Overtime, incentives, commissions, and route assignment may affect total earnings).
