Critical Care Advanced Practice Clinician in Harvey, IL

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated advanced practice clinician (nurse practitioner or physician assistant) to join our critical care team on a part‑time, night shift basis. The APC will provide advanced clinical care to critically ill adult patients in collaboration with intensivists, attending physicians, and the multidisciplinary ICU team.
About the Role
Perform comprehensive assessments, diagnostics, and therapeutic procedures for critically ill patients
Manage and monitor patients with complex conditions, including ventilator support, hemodynamic instability, and multi‑organ failure
Order and interpret diagnostic tests (labs, imaging, etc.) and develop treatment plans
Perform or assist with procedures such as central line placement, arterial line insertion, intubation (if credentialed), chest tube placement, etc.
Write progress notes, admission and discharge summaries, and communicate effectively with patients, families, and the care team
Participate in rapid response and code blue situations
Collaborate with intensivists and other providers to ensure continuity and quality of care
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
Follow hospital policies, critical care protocols, and regulatory standards
Competitive Compensation, with an estimated base salary range of $70 to $80 hourly with the opportunity to earn incentives.
