American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) position on a Med/Surg Telemetry unit, requiring a current NC or compact RN license and regular weekend shifts.
Position located in a Long Term Acute Care hospital
Assignment in LTAC and Med/Surg Telemetry unit
Patient population includes long-term care and telemetry cases
Uses Epic charting system
Night shift 12-hour shifts 3x12s, 19:00-07:00
Required to work every other weekend
Floating to similar units within scope may be required
Block scheduling may be accommodated per staffing needs
Compliance with a 50-mile radius rule for travelers
Royal blue and white scrubs required per department dress code
Must not be a first-time traveler
Candidates who were recently employed as staff must be gone for at least one year before returning as a traveler
Maximum of two contract terms; after two terms, a six month break is required before reapplying
RTO (time off) subject to manager's discretion
Local candidate must live more than 50 miles from facility
Active NC or compact RN license required at time of submission
Minimum of recent LTAC and Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience
Professional references from two supervisors within past two years required
Must provide full seven-year work history with any gaps explained
Pending licensure not accepted
