Responsibilities Progressive Care Nurses monitor patients who are not unstable enough for ICU care. They monitor cardiac and other vital signs and intervene in life‑threatening situations. They manage complex medications and titrate based on vital signs. Patient population may include cardiac, medical, neuro, surgical step‑down and ER holding units.
Qualifications
Active RN license
Degree from an accredited nursing program
BLS & ACLS certifications
18 months recent experience in an Acute Care PCU/Step‑down setting
Other requirements may be determined by client facility
