Looking for an experienced SLP ready to make an impact through virtual therapy? We're seeking a dedicated speech-language pathologist to deliver high-quality teletherapy services to students across Michigan. This remote position offers the flexibility of working from home while supporting students who need your expertise.
Position Overview This full-time virtual role involves providing comprehensive speech and language services to a caseload of approximately 45-50 students spanning elementary through middle school grades. You'll be conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering engaging therapy sessions through our secure online platform.
What You'll Be Doing Your day-to-day responsibilities include conducting speech and language evaluations, writing detailed assessment reports, developing and implementing IEPs, providing direct therapy services via teletherapy platform, monitoring student progress through data collection and analysis, collaborating with teachers and support staff through virtual meetings, maintaining accurate documentation and therapy logs, communicating regularly with parents about student progress and strategies, and participating in IEP meetings and MDTs.
Required Qualifications
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
Active Michigan speech-language pathology license
Minimum 2 years of experience in school-based settings
Strong technology skills and comfort with virtual platforms
Reliable internet connection and appropriate workspace for teletherapy
Technical Requirements You’ll need a quiet, professional workspace, high-speed internet connection, computer with webcam and microphone, and familiarity with video conferencing platforms.
The typical schedule runs 37.5 hours per week with flexibility in how you structure your therapy sessions and planning time. Students primarily need support in the areas of articulation, language development, fluency, and social communication skills.
