PBNA $35.24 / hour
SIGN ON BONUS $5,000**
2nd shift (2:30-11:00pm) or 3rd shift available (10:30pm-7:00am)
Responsibilities
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain all parts and equipment on the packaging line and blending areas to maximize uptime.
Monitor packaging operations and recommend mechanical/electrical changes or upgrades to increase efficiency.
Perform preventative maintenance throughout the plant, including fillers, cappers, depalletizers, labelers, conveyors, and more.
Calibrate level and conductivity probes through Wonderware software and make minor program changes as needed.
Operate shop equipment such as lathe, end mill, welder, and rebuild packaging equipment as required.
Write and complete work orders in a timely manner, adhering to SOPs and lockout/tag‑out procedures.
Maintain PPE and compliance with safety, GMP, HSE and 5S requirements.
Assist in continuous improvement initiatives and address engineering defects.
Perform additional duties as assigned or as business needs change.
Qualifications
Mechanical skills and experience: basic and general maintenance, burning and welding operations, predictive maintenance, plumbing, rigging, shop equipment and machining operations.
Electrical skills: understanding of relay logic, electrical schematics, troubleshooting AC and DC circuits, VFDs, PLCs, and operation of model‑view interfaces.
Proficient in operating shop equipment such as lathes, end mills, and welders.
Ability to perform preventive maintenance on various equipment, including valves, bearings, gearboxes, chains, sprockets, gaskets, seals, regulators, and couplings.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work within a team.
Demonstrated initiative, ownership, and leadership capabilities.
High level of organization, time management, and attention to detail.
Capable of lifting 50 lbs and working overtime, weekends, and off‑shift.
Self‑directed and prepared to take on additional responsibilities.
